About Us

SCB Consult is based on Victoria's south coast and specialises in bushfire planning design, emergency management and climate change. We have experience over a broad range of sectors including Planning, Construction, Environment, Community Safety, Emergency Management, Climate Change Adaptation and Natural Resource Management.

Our staff include; a qualified bushfire scientist, a registered builder, a town planner and office management.
We have an excellent relationship with key stakeholders including the CFA and local government and are well respected in the industry.

Application of expert technical allows us to integrate best practice scientific principles into our projects to accurately determine bushfire risk.

Kylie Steel, the director/principle consultant has a career spanning 20 years in the environment management sector, including climate change, bushfire science, sustainability, marine sciences and governance (Board Director). Kylie is an accredited level 2 BPad practitioner. Accreditation requires ongoing professional development and gives clients assurance of a competent bushfire consultant
